Featuring a 9-lane, 400-meter, all-weather rubberized running surface in Findlay High School's blue and yellow colors, CooperTires Track & Field Complex is a world-class track and field complex for Northwestern Ohio High School events. The running surface was designed to be environmentally friendly, mercury-free, contains low amounts of VOC's (volatile organic compounds) and meets many of the standards of "green" design.
Beyond the standard field events of long jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put and discus, the track also features a wireless starting gun and photo-finish system. These amenities are similar to what you'd see at a major, Division I College Track Event, or the Olympics. The track also has state-of-the-art sports lighting, allowing practices or meets to go into the night. All of these features allow Findlay High School to host major invitational and/or state-qualifying track meets for the OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association).
The grass football field on the inside of the track will be used by the High School for JV Football games and or misc. practices.
