“We have finally done to ourselves, what we do to our clients.”
RCM's offices were located in the old Parkford Building at 613 S. Main Street, that was adjacent to Marathon's headquarters. With Marathon Petroleum Corporation's planned expansion in Findlay, it meant that RCM Architects had to find a new place to call home.
RCM Architects had the unique opportunity to locate an existing storefront in Downtown Findlay, and design a new office space that met our needs while showcasing our design skills. Our new home, located just south of the Historic Hancock County Courthouse, continues a 50-plus-year tradition of being a part of Downtown Findlay.
The new office features an "urban-chic" decor plan with exposed metal beams and glass walls. The drop ceiling of the former County Commissioners office was completely removed to expose the original 16' high wooden roof structure. The original terrazzo flooring was kept, polished, and shines beautifully throughout the office. Two large conference rooms were added to the plan to allow for multiple meetings to occur simultaneously.
